Mr Joseph Graham shared this video footage of the Store Treat in 1923, which shows the school children all dressed in their finest outfits marching up the High Street alongside the pipe and brass bands from the area.

The second part of the video then moves to the Public Park and shows the thousands of people enjoying a fun-filled day around the Bandstand, with kids being issued their Gala Bag and taking part in races and games.
